Back to my home, PATTAYA

An early wake up call, ready to go back and leave the hottest Island in the Pacific, haha. My flight to Manila was arranged for 09.35 am. On arrival they asked me if I wanted an earlier flight at 08.35 am, was good for me, as faster I could cool off how better. This time we had a faster Donnier, took us only 35 min to Manila.
On arrival in Manila Domestic Terminal I needed a taxi to go to the International Terminal, which was a few kilometers away. Everything went smooth, time enough. My flight to Bangkok was 14.35 pm, 4 hours I had to wait but I was relaxed and time went fast. The flight was a bit later then excepted, 3 Hours later we arrived in Bangkok. The fun was there waa a guy going into an office with glass walls and tought this was a smoking area and it was an Immigration Office, haha, that was fun to see, those officers went almost crazy.
In the arrival hall there was Nuch (my ex) waiting for me to take me back home. Good to have good friends, isn't? Another holiday with good experiences

The last day on Buracay, the hottest island in the Pacific

My last day on the island, yesterday night I didn't make it to the Italian food festival, had a few St. Miguel lights with one of the owners of the sports club, big hopes to do some bar hopping after that but again after 200 meters walking I was sweating like hell, wet all over like I took a shower, so decided, that's it, back to my aircon room and watch a movie before sleep. Don't get me wrong, this island is one of the most beautiful islands I ever saw, but I just came on the wrong time of the year and next time I come with my girlfriend (that's a promise baby) nomore alone.
So this morning I decided to make dinner for tonight, on the menu "Cocq au Vin" for the owner Brian and his wife Brigitte and the rest of the family. First we went shopping somewhere on a hill, to buy the vegetables and the chicken (hope it's birdflue free, haha) in the local market, this market is much worser then our stinky market in Pattaya, haha. Flies were taking over business.
2 hours preparation in the kitchen with some help from the Chef cook Chris, a Philippino guy, lived and worked in England and is married with the owners daughter Helena, very nice guy, very good cook! Then off to the beach again to check my mail.
The night was cooler then normal at 9 pm, when we had dinner. My Cocq au Vin was a succes, Brigitte and Brian loved it. Also the French wine that Brian served was excellent and smooth.
Great evening with the hosts. Thanks for the hospitality!

Warm, warm, and warm

Wake up at 09.00 am, hungry needed a good breakfast. Mr. Brian welcomed me with a good morning and he prepared a nice continental breakfast for me and off I went again to the beach, very hot again today, I really get tired from that heat so I tried to change my tickets to tomorrow but no chance, all full booked, oh well, I make the best of it. Saw a gym and decided to go there at 4 pm, also at the beach tonight at 7 pm was a Italian Special buffet, waw, have to check that out!

Boracay here I come

Early wake up call to take my taxi to Clark Airbase, had an inland flight at 09.00 am to Boracay the excotic Island, yes now we can fly from Angeles everywhere in the Philippines, even to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore with SEAIR. It took us 1 h.30 min to fly with a Donnier airplane, could carry 18 people, last time I was in that kind of airplane was with the Thai Marines to jump out, haha.
Waw, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the island from the air, so beautiful, same as the pics showing on the net. My pick up was there to welcome me and take me to Boracay Hills the hotel I reserved, on arrival Mr. Brian and Mdm. Brigitte the owners of the resort welcomed me with a mango shake and gave me a lot of information i.e. the hotel and the island. Very nice and friendly people. Check in my room, I was nervous to recon the island, put my running gear on and off I went. One thing I forgot around 2 pm it's the hottest time of the day, so I went for about 6 km in the hot sun along the beautiful beach, very tired and sweaty I came back to my room and jumped in the pool to cool off, the pool was like a warm tea and back to my room for air, I needed cold air. Feel asleep for a couple off hours. Then shower and recon the nightlife at the beach. I went to a nice place called Sports Bar, met Christian, an Austrian, who told me about some places who were wild, had a few beers and went off to check out those bars. Off course it's not like my home, Pattaya, the people are different, very friendly but not service girls if you know what I mean. Again I was sweating like hell from going place to place, it didn't cool off in the evening and had enough from the heat so I decided to go back to the hotel and sleep.

On more night in Angeles

A bad morning, headache from the night before and very sorry I went over my calories count daily, so back out and go for another run to get rid of all the shit from yesterday.
My friends invited me for a Dog House meeting at 5 pm, no I couldn't drink again, to much for me, nomore headaches, I decided to keep it cool today, tomorrow early wake up
The day ended with a nice Japanese dinner and a movie in the new Shopping Mall and at night a good traditional massage before sleep.

Angeles City here I come

Wake up early morning, get my shake down and taxi to the airport, 500 baht the taxi fair now to the new airport from BKK. quiet expensive.
My flight was good in time, 3 hours flight to Manila. On arrival there was my taxi waiting from the Swiss Chalet to take me to Angeles City. Another 3 hours traffic jam and finally I arrived, not much was changed since I was there in September last year.
First thing to do check in my Paradise Suit room, whaw, what was that, a room with sort of jacussi, my own computer, 2 Aircons, TV with 50 channels etc.. I was like a kid in a candy store, haha and that for only 60 $US.
A good shower, some rest and off I went for a jog, tried to find my friend Alan (the Lone Wolf) in the gym but couldn't find him so went alone for a run. Need some excercise every day now I am on diet and training again.
We had RV in the Stinger Bar at 7 pm, good to see the guys Josh, Alan, Michael and Kevin, they were there already from Wednesday, the drunken bastards, haha
The night went on with a lot of St. Miguel lights until that little frog came with the big hammer and had to go back to my room for a good night sleep.

Back to the PHILIPPINES

My plan today was escaping the Songkran troubles in Pattaya and go stay one night in NANA, BKK and have some nightlife fun. I tought Sunday 15 April, the Songkran will be finished in BKK. Arrival in BKK, what do I see, people throwing water at each other,

SONGKRAN not finished, shit, quick out of the taxi and to my room, good I had a whole pack with DVD's, could spend the night in my room, shit! The good thing was room service with food and a good .....massage, hihi.
